Adaptable Materials
Extruded parts offer flexible material selection, allowing precise matching of base materials based on mechanical requirements, environmental resistance, and cost. Among metals, aluminum alloy (lightweight, high-strength, and easy to form) is suitable for high-end fields such as aerospace; copper alloy (excellent electrical and thermal conductivity) is used in electrical and heat dissipation components; and steel (high rigidity and wear resistance after hot extrusion) is applied to mechanical structural parts. For non-metals, engineering plastics (e.g., PA, PC) and composite materials can meet special requirements like low temperature resistance and corrosion resistance through modification (glass fiber reinforcement, flame retardancy), expanding the application scope.
Surface Processing
Surface processing is key to enhancing the performance and appearance of extruded parts, with processes selected as needed. For corrosion resistance, anodizing (applicable to aluminum alloy, dyeable) and electrophoretic coating (uniform coating) are optional. To improve wear resistance and hardness, hard anodizing, powder/fluorocarbon spraying can be adopted. Electroplating and passivation treatments optimize electrical conductivity, welding performance, or decorative effects, adapting to harsh service environments.
